What this job involves:
As a Material Handler at JLL, you will support daily facility and warehouse operations by managing the safe receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials and supplies. This role is essential to maintaining efficient workflows and ensuring client operations run smoothly. You will work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organization, and safety are critical. The position offers the opportunity to build logistics and inventory management skills while collaborating with teams committed to operational excellence and exceptional client service.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing documentation.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and related equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts, stock tracking, and system updates.
• Pick, pack, and distribute materials to designated departments or facility locations.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and in accordance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, facility teams, and internal stakeholders to fulfill material requests efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, storage, and work areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and shipment processing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using inventory or tracking systems.
• Member of Local 68 union or willingness to join upon hire.

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and OSHA-related material handling practices.
• Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or corporate facilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within team environments.
• Ability to adapt to changing operational priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Work Shift:

08 Hour Day - 1st Shift/Morning Shift

Salary: $29 per hour

Expected compensation for this position: 61,734.00 – 61,734.40 USD per year
