ResponsibilitiesThe post-holder will be required to proactively generate income for Royal Holloway by selling the campus as an event venue. Events on the campus include conferences, banqueting, meetings, weddings, accommodation services, internal hospitality and filming. The post-holder will respond to all reactive event enquiries and proactively seek opportunities to sell our campus for the aforementioned events to maximise revenue.
The post-holder must be an effective communicator and able to build rapport with different clients. The successful candidate will be confident in engaging with external clients from corporate, association and educational sectors, as well as academics from university departments, via telephone, email, and face‑to‑face. Excellent organisational skills are required as well as the ability to deliver inspirational customer service to our valued clients.
