CTR Select are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join our client based in Englefield Green. Office based Monday - Friday 7.30am
-4pm.
We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a team environment, and can meet tight deadlines.
The successful Trainee Estimator will be responsible for:- Utilising estimating software to build quotations
- Reviewing tender information to highlight any necessary tender clarifications
- Develop cost plans and budget estimates
- Liaising with the estimating manager and other senior personnel on current estimates and the handover of projects upon order of contract
- Carrying out labour and material take-off's
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly
- Excellent time management and ability to multitask
- Working within a client lead role
- Reporting to the Estimating Manager
- Good IT skills, including Excel
- Good communication skills and confident on the phone
- Always upholds a professional attitude
- Flexibility and commitment
