Road Freight import export coordinator

Responsibilities

• Complete and process customs entries accurately and efficiently.
• Handle import and export customs declarations.
• Coordinate road freight shipments across the UK and Europe.
• Liaise with customers, hauliers, customs authorities, and overseas agents.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate shipment and customs records.
• Provide excellent customer service and operational support.

• Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or customs operations.
• Knowledge of customs entries and customs procedures.
• Road freight experience is essential.
• Familiarity with CDS and customs software would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday. Hybrid schedule.
