Veterinary Receptionist - Part-Time

Runnymede Vets are looking to grow their fantastic team with a compassionate and organised Veterinary Receptionist. This is a part‑time role covering maternity leave over a fixed‑term contract of 12 months.

You should be able to demonstrate a professional and friendly approach when dealing with our clients and have an exceptional phone manner.

Your role will include the following:

• Reporting to our Head Receptionist
• Answering Telephone calls and greeting clients
• Liaising with clients regarding insurance, Pet Health Club queries and updating clients’ personal details, keeping in line with GDPR.
• Taking card and cash payments and allocating them to the correct files, and completing the day's banking.
• Changing, cancelling and booking appointments
• Ensuring that all daily tasks are completed and preparing end‑of‑day paperwork
• Dispensing flea and worm medication
• Adhering to all practice/reception procedures to always ensure an excellent level of customer service to our clients.
• Keeping up to date with training that will help within your role

You will work Monday - Friday, either 9 am – 12 pm OR 4 pm-7 pm and every other Saturday. Saturdays are 9 am – 2 pm.
