Security Guard

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our clients operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, contractors, and clients on site.

4 days on 4 days off
7am - 7pm
35,501 per annum

You will be responsible for access control, site patrols, incident reporting, and ensuring all security procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and deliveries
• Provide a courteous and professional concierge-style service
• Adhere strictly to all site security procedures and protocols
• Conduct regular foot patrols and monitor CCTV systems
• Perform static and mobile guarding duties for extended periods, including in inclement weather
• Report suspicious behavior or security concerns promptly to the Operations Manager
• Accurately record incidents, accidents, near misses, and daily activities in log sheets
• Handle deliveries and access control in line with established procedures
• Support wider site operations as required
• Communication & Compliance
• Maintain confidentiality of all company, visitor, and operational data in line with GDPR
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure site safety and compliance

Essential

• Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence

Desirable

• CCTV Licence
• Fire Marshal qualification
• First Aid qualification
