Position: Housing & Support Officer

Housing Support Officer

No previous experience? That's fine as training will be provided.

£28,000 per annum pro rata

37 hrs per week

What you'll be doing

You'll work as part of a team supporting clients daily to resolve problems and reach positive outcomes. Help clients meet their personalised support plans and connect with local community services.

You'll also handle housing management activities including:

  • Rent collection and tenancy management
  • Risk assessments and health and safety checks
  • Reporting maintenance issues
About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Ability to develop non-judgmental professional relationships with clients
  • Basic numeracy and written communication skills in Maths and English GCSE/ level 4 or above or equivalent
  • The ability to communicate well with clients, peers and other agencies
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • The ability to manage their own time, delivering outcomes, meeting deadlines and undertaking training
  • The ability to gain an understanding of safeguarding issues and a commitment to protect all adults and children using or visiting Transform's services
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet)
  • The ability to join the frontline on call rota

It is essential that you have a full valid driving licence and use of your own car for business purposes. An Enhanced DBS check is required before starting.
