Teaching Dutch in an international environment? As a Dutch/NT2 teacher at Summa International Business, you make language practical and relevant for both Dutch-speaking and non-Dutch-speaking students.

• You help students communicate more confidently in Dutch.
• You make language part of realistic, international business assignments.
• You help non-native speaking students build the language foundation they need for their studies and future in the Netherlands.

• You teach Dutch and NT2 to Dutch-speaking students and students with an international background.
• You link language education to practice-oriented business assignments, such as writing a flyer, presenting a sales proposal, or discussing international business issues.
• You guide non-native speaking students across various language levels and help them progress within Dutch vocational education.
• You guide students in their development and examine and assess their language proficiency.
• You work with colleagues on the further development of practice-oriented language education within the study program.

You work at Summa International Business, a three-year secondary vocational education program that prepares approximately 350 students for a commercial future in the international business world. The program has a bilingual and an all-English variant, and approximately 30% of the students have an international background.

You are part of a team of 24 lecturers and work closely with your subject colleagues. Furthermore, from our location in Eindhoven, we collaborate with companies and educational institutions domestically and internationally.

• A temporary employment contract of 0,8 FTE from 1 November 2026 to 31 May 2027 in connection with maternity leave.
• A salary in accordance with the MBO collective labor agreement, scale LB, between €3.713 and €5.495 gross per month based on full-time employment.
• A year-end bonus of 8,33%, the ABP pension fund, and a laptop and phone on loan.

You know how to make language education practical and accessible and can effectively connect with students of varying language levels and backgrounds. You build connections with students and colleagues, take initiative, and contribute ideas on how education can be further developed.

In addition:

• do you have at least a second-degree teaching qualification for the subject Dutch;
• is an NT2 qualification an advantage;
• do you have an affinity for guiding non-native speaking students;
• you contribute to a positive and safe learning environment.
