Sales Engineer

A manufacturer based in Eindhoven is currently looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team. This is a customer-facing role combining engineering knowledge with sales activities. You will work closely with distributors and direct customers to understand their technical requirements and recommend suitable product solutions. This role is ideal for someone with an engineering background who enjoys working with customers and solving technical problems.

Sales Engineer Main Responsibilities

Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with Customers

Managing and interpreting Distributor and Direct Customer requirements

Customer visit face-to-face visits

Preparing web conferences

Calculating quotations

Preparing technical drawings

Preparing reports and presentations when required by General Manager

Recording and maintaining client contact data

Co-ordinating customer projects

Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events, domestic and other European locations

Providing technical assistance and product education

Liaising with other members within the group

Solving client problems with the most appropriate product

Helping in the design of custom-made products

Provide training and producing support material for our Distributors

Handling tradeshow and workshop

Running custom test and create technical report

Working with Production Department using machines to verify design for Customers

Sales Engineer Ideal Candidate

Good command of the English language, both spoken and written

A good technical background (Degree qualification in an engineering discipline)

Excellent knowledge of MS products such as Word/Excel

Ability to use drawing design packages to produce technical drawings

Analytical and problem-solving skills, resilience and tenacity

Independent working and excellent time keeping

Ability to work under tight deadlines

Proactive to visit customer and handle tradeshow

Business level fluency in English

Full driving licence
