We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer specializing in Campus Networks (WiFi, Wireless, and LAN) to join our team in Eindhoven, Netherlands
. In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise Cisco-based wireless and wired network infrastructures supporting high-performance connectivity across campus environments.
You will play a key role in ensuring reliable and optimized wireless network performance
, while integrating wired and wireless infrastructure to support modern enterprise environments.
Wireless Network Management
- Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) including HA-SSO and mobility groups
. - Manage AP onboarding and join processes across campus environments.
- Optimize wireless performance using RF profiles, band steering, and tuning techniques
.
Access Point Management
- Deploy and manage Cisco Access Points (APs) including:
- Cisco 9120
- Cisco 9130
- Cisco 9166
- Perform RF tuning and optimization to ensure high-quality wireless coverage and performance.
Network Monitoring & Automation
- Utilize Cisco DNA Center for network automation and monitoring, including:
- Assurance and telemetry analysis
- Software Image Management (SWIM)
- Template management for configuration deployment
Wireless Standards & Performance
- Apply deep knowledge of 802.11 wireless standards for network design and troubleshooting.
- Optimize network performance through QoS configuration, roaming optimization, and segmentation policies

Wired–Wireless Integration
- Manage LAN technologies including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and 802.1X authentication
. - Ensure seamless integration between wired LAN and wireless infrastructure across campus networks.
- Support WAN connectivity basics when required for end-to-end network operations.
- 6–8 years of experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in Cisco wireless networking technologies
. - Hands‑on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers
. - Experience managing Cisco wireless access points (9120, 9130, 9166).
- Strong understanding of Cisco DNA Center including assurance, telemetry, and automation.
- Deep knowledge of 802.11 wireless standards, RF design, and roaming optimization
. - Solid understanding of LAN networking technologies (VLANs, STP, 802.1X).
- Experience integrating wired and wireless network environments
