Mechatronics Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and integrate mechatronic systems including actuators, sensors, and control components

Develop system models, perform simulations, and optimize mechatronic performance

Collaborate with control engineers, software developers, and mechanical engineers

Validate and test prototypes, components, and integrated systems

Analyze system behavior, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements

Ensure compliance with functional safety standards and industry regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

Experience in mechatronic system design, integration, or control

Knowledge of model-based development, simulation, and embedded control systems

Experience with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CAD software, or test benches

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

Candidates must currently live in the Netherlands
