The Role
You work with highly automated test systems that are developed and customized by Prodrive from the ground up to support validation and configuration of a wide range of different products. Functional testing of interfaces, component value testing of passive components, safety testing of internal barriers; you manage to combine the coverage of each test into a fully optimized test strategy that leaves no room for failure.

Your responsibilities involve creating specialized test hardware for seamless interfacing, developing reliable and effective test software, and collaborating with the design team to assess product designs for testability. As product complexity increases, you identify new features needed for our test platforms to support next‑generation hardware in production testing. Once products reach series production, you support life‑cycle management by leveraging your knowledge of products and test systems, analyzing test logs, identifying failures, and resolving instabilities early to maximize yield.

This hands‑on, end‑to‑end involvement creates continuous opportunities for learning and technical growth within Prodrive Technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement hardware components—including circuit boards, sensors, actuators, and interfaces—to facilitate automated testing processes

Formulate comprehensive test strategies for products, ensuring alignment with requirements from various internal departments and customers

Engage collaboratively with the product development team at early stages to guarantee Design for Testability

Develop robust software solutions for controlling and automating test setups, emphasizing reliability, efficiency, diagnostic capability, and accuracy

Optimize test setups for scalability and cost‑effectiveness, taking into account throughput, cycle time, and resource utilization

Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting assistance to production teams, resolving issues related to test setups and equipment
