About the Role
We are seeking an experienced  Network Engineer specializing in Campus Networks (WiFi, Wireless, and LAN)  to join our team in  Eindhoven, Netherlands . In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise  Cisco-based wireless and wired network infrastructures  supporting high-performance connectivity across campus environments.

You will play a key role in ensuring reliable and optimized  wireless network performance , while integrating wired and wireless infrastructure to support modern enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
Wireless Network Management

Configure and manage  Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs)  including  HA-SSO and mobility groups .

Manage  AP onboarding and join processes  across campus environments.

Optimize wireless performance using  RF profiles, band steering, and tuning techniques .

Access Point Management

Deploy and manage  Cisco Access Points (APs)  including:

Cisco 9120

Cisco 9130

Cisco 9166

Perform RF tuning and optimization to ensure high-quality wireless coverage and performance.

Network Monitoring & Automation

Utilize  Cisco DNA Center  for network automation and monitoring, including:

Assurance and telemetry analysis

Software Image Management (SWIM)

Template management for configuration deployment

Wireless Standards & Performance

Apply deep knowledge of  802.11 wireless standards  for network design and troubleshooting.

Optimize network performance through  QoS configuration, roaming optimization, and segmentation policies .

Wired–Wireless Integration

Manage LAN technologies including  VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and 802.1X authentication .

Ensure seamless integration between  wired LAN and wireless infrastructure  across campus networks.

Support WAN connectivity basics when required for end-to-end network operations.

Required Skills & Experience

6–8 years of experience  in enterprise network engineering roles.

Strong expertise in  Cisco wireless networking technologies .

Hands‑on experience with  Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers .

Experience managing  Cisco wireless access points (9120, 9130, 9166) .

Strong understanding of  Cisco DNA Center  including assurance, telemetry, and automation.

Deep knowledge of  802.11 wireless standards, RF design, and roaming optimization .

Solid understanding of  LAN networking technologies (VLANs, STP, 802.1X) .

Experience integrating  wired and wireless network environments .
