Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Rubrik Cloud Backup & Recovery Engineer to join our team in Eindhoven. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise backup solutions, particularly within Rubrik environments , and experience working in mission-critical infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite
Perform Rubrik CDM to RSC migrations
Handle Rubrik cluster upgrades, deployment, and lifecycle management
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies , including ransomware scenarios
Oversee capacity planning and performance optimization of Rubrik environments
Support and maintain enterprise NAS platforms in critical environments
Work on API integrations and automation using REST/GraphQL
Integrate Rubrik with enterprise tools like Mule Soft, Service Now, and Splunk
Ensure cyber resiliency and security best practices
Collaborate in an Agile delivery environment
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Rubrik Backup & Recovery solutions
Experience with :
Rubrik CDM & RSC migration
Cluster upgrades & lifecycle management
Ransomware recovery & disaster recovery
Capacity management
Knowledge of API integrations (REST, Graph
QL) and automation
Experience managing:
SAP HANA
Kubernetes
Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL
VMware vSphere VMs
Active Directory Protection
Understanding of cybersecurity and cyber resiliency frameworks
Nice to Have
VMware administration
Storage automation experience
Cloud expertise, especially Microsoft Azure networking
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
