Lead mechanical design activities throughout the full product development lifecycle, from concept to industrialization.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanics, software, electronics, system engineering and manufacturing.
Guide and coach mechanical engineers and designers in technical decision-making and design quality.
Perform and oversee analyses related to stiffness, dynamics, thermal behavior, tolerances and precision mechanics.
Define verification and validation strategies to ensure compliance with requirements and product quality.
Manage technical risks and support integration and troubleshooting activities during development and testing.
Drive innovation by introducing new technologies, methodologies and design approaches.
Act as technical stakeholder towards customers, suppliers and project teams.
What do you bring?
MSc or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in high-tech equipment development or precision engineering environments.
Proven experience in defining mechanical architectures for complex precision mechanics systems and high-tech products.
Strong understanding of precision mechanics, dynamics, thermal management, manufacturability and system integration.
Experience working in multidisciplinary development teams and (in) formal leaderschip.
Solid knowledge of structured product development processes and systems engineering principles.

Experience with CAD tools and engineering analysis methods such as FEA and tolerance analysis.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance technical depth with system-level overview.
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
What kind of person are you?
You are a systems thinker with a strong technical foundation.
You take ownership and feel comfortable making technical decisions.
You combine creativity with pragmatism.
You are capable of inspiring and guiding engineers and project teams.
You thrive in technically challenging and dynamic environments.
You are quality-driven, structured and solution-oriented.
