Field Services Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join an innovative high-tech engineering business based in Eindhoven.

This role offers the chance to work with advanced equipment in a fast-paced environment, supporting customers and internal teams through installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair complex equipment both on-site and at customer locations.

Respond to service requests and provide timely technical support.

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software-related issues.

Record service activities, maintenance reports, and work instructions within the ticketing system.

Assemble, test, and integrate sub-assemblies and hardware components.

Support equipment validation and acceptance testing activities.

Share technical knowledge and contribute to process improvements across the service function.

Collaborate closely with engineering and support teams to resolve technical challenges.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline.

Minimum 5 years' experience within a high-tech engineering environment.

Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills on complex systems.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software systems.

Experience using service management or ticketing systems.

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Fluent English language skills;
Dutch would be advantageous.

Cleanroom experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
