PLC Programmer

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a  PLC Architect Engineer  to design and standardise advanced control system architectures for high-tech industrial equipment. You will define scalable PLC solutions, ensure system reliability, and guide engineering teams across complex automation projects.

Responsibilities

Define and own the  PLC software architecture  for industrial systems (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal or equivalent).

Design  modular, scalable, and reusable control frameworks .

Lead technical decisions on  PLC integration, communication protocols (Profinet, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP) .

Collaborate with system, software, and hardware teams to ensure  end-to-end system coherence .

Establish  development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices .

Drive  system performance, safety, and reliability requirements .

Oversee  integration, testing strategies, and validation approaches  (including automated testing environments).

Provide technical mentorship to PLC engineers and development teams.

Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in  Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics .

4+ years of experience in  PLC programming and industrial automation .

Strong expertise with  Siemens TIA Portal / S7  (or equivalent platforms).

Knowledge of  industrial communication protocols  and distributed systems.

Experience with  testing frameworks, simulation tools, or digital twins .
