As a Senior Hardware Designer, you willtake responsibility for project development fromstartto end. Fromunderstanding andcommunicatingproject requirements with stakeholders and team members, to designing and implementation.
You will participate in discussions aboutarchitecture decisions, design trade-offsandimplementationspecific impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of digital, analog, and power supply circuits, including system-level integration within RF devices
- Analyze and defineclearfunctional and performance requirements in collaboration with customers
- Own PCB architecture and oversee layout, ensuringoptimalcomponentplacement, signal integrity, and manufacturability
- Perform advanced circuit design, simulations, and validation for complex hardware systems
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to define thermal management, shielding, and mechanical integration strategies
- Drive schematic design,component selection, and PCB layoutin accordance with
DFM, DFAand DFT best practices
- Take ownership of the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through prototyping, validation, and production support
- Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex hardware issues in prototypes and early production units
- Review andoptimizedesigns to improve performance, reliability, and cost
- Define andmaintainhigh-quality technical documentation, including requirements,design specifications,schematics, and BOMs
- Generate
TPDsandcollaborate with manufacturers and suppliers of PCBs and components
- Mentor juniorengineers and contribute to design reviews and technical decision-making
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Extensive experience in designing digital, analog, and power circuits for complex systems
- Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes andDFx
- Proficiency in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Solid experience withthe implementation ofcommunicationinterfaces: SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, LVDS
- Proven experience withtheimplementation of complex processors,FPGAsand/or So Cs
- Strong hands-ondebugging and testing experience with equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
- Deep understanding of PCB layout principles, includingstack-up design,signalintegrityand power integrity considerations
Skills & Abilities Required
- High levelof accuracy and attention to detail in complex hardware design and validation
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to lead technical work independently
- Defining and scoping of tasks andeffort estimation
- Advanced problem-solving skills, particularly in debugging andoptimizingcomplex prototypes
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate across hardware,software,mechanical, RF, and manufacturing teams
- Understanding the impact of embedded software on hardware development
- Experience in RF circuit design and/orsignal integrity simulations is an advantage
- Knowledge of EMC compliance and testing is a plus
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB 3.1, MGTs) is beneficial
