Job Title:

Senior Systems Engineer – MBSE
Responsibilities   Lead, apply, and improve the Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology across projects in various Philips businesses.
Implement and apply MBSE in R&D departments within Philips businesses, continuously enhancing Systems Engineering practices.
Coach and/or lead a team of system engineers and deploy MBSE capability throughout the global company.
Guide every aspect of MBSE and product development, from front‑end design to deployment, operation, maintenance, and phase‑out.
Engage externally with other companies to build a professional network within the high‑tech industry.
Qualifications   7+ years of experience in an R&D environment within a regulated industry (medical device strongly preferred).
Broad experience as a System Engineer with expertise in Requirements Engineering, Risk Management and design in a regulated environment (medical or aerospace).
Proficient with model‑based systems engineering tools such as Cameo, including customization (Structured Expressions, Scripting, Profiles, Custom Diagrams, Validation Rules, plugin development, etc.).
Experienced with SysML at least at the Model User level; scripting knowledge is a plus.
Familiar with Structure, Behavior, Requirements, and Parametric model implementation and capable of creating Meta‑Model and Data‑Model definitions.

Experience with Hospital Patient Monitoring products or other Philips medical products.
M.Sc. degree in Embedded Controls and System Design, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills, able to operate at different architectural detail levels with a hands‑on mentality.
Fluent in English.
Working Arrangements  Office‑based teams; requires in‑person work at least 3 days per week.
