A fast-growing deep-tech company is seeking an Application Engineer to work on modeling next-gen semiconductor devices and engaging directly with leading global chip manufacturers.
What you’ll do:
Translate customer requirements into modelling workflows
Develop device models and data analysis recipes
Lead technical discussions on device architecture in customer meetings
Collaborate with software, algorithm, and data teams
About you:
MSc/PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering
3+ years within a leading semiconductor manufacturer or metrology provider
Strong understanding of device architecture & fabrication processes
Python skills (clean, functional coding)
Confident communicating complex technical concepts
You will report to the Application Team Lead, ideally work from the Eindhoven office, and travel to customer sites (in Asia) approximately quarterly.
