System Architect

All‑Round Systems Architect (High‑Tech & Mechatronics)
As an  All‑Round Systems Architect , you play a key role in designing, specifying, and realizing complex (electro) mechanical and embedded systems. You oversee the entire system landscape — from high‑level requirements to integration and verification — and translate technical decisions into robust, scalable, and future‑proof solutions.

You collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (software, electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, production, testing) and act as the technical pivot in challenging high‑tech projects within domains such as semiconductors, defense, medical technology, and industrial automation.

Your responsibilities

System architecture & concept development :  Designing system architectures for complex high‑tech modules and products, including functional decomposition, interfaces, risk analysis, and trade‑off studies.

Requirements engineering :  Defining, managing, and validating system and subsystem requirements; translating customer needs into technical specifications.

Technical leadership & stakeholder management :  Guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams and serving as the technical point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Integration & verification :  Coordinating system integration, test strategies, and verification plans; analyzing system behavior and resolving complex issues.

Innovation & technical roadmap :  Identifying technological opportunities, defining architectural principles, and contributing to long‑term product strategies.

Documentation & compliance :  Ensuring traceability, system documentation, and compliance with relevant standards.

You recognize yourself as a versatile, analytically strong architect with a solid technical foundation and experience in high‑tech environments. You are an architect who is both conceptually strong and technically hands‑on. Someone who can effortlessly switch between system‑level thinking and detailed engineering, and who thrives on solving complex technical challenges in dynamic high‑tech environments.

Must‑haves

MSc in  Electrical Engineering ,  Mechanical Engineering ,  Mechatronics , or similar degree in engineering.

At least 5 years of experience as an all‑round  Hardware architect, Systems Architect  or a comparable role

Experience in high‑tech development environments such as  semiconductor equipment ,  defense systems ,  mechatronic modules  or  embedded electronics.

Strong knowledge of systems thinking, modeling, interfaces, architecture principles, and requirements engineering

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electronics, software, mechatronics)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to justify technical decisions clearly
