As a Robotics Control Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize control systems for robotic platforms used in automotive, industrial, or high-tech applications. You will develop algorithms that govern motion, trajectory planning, precision actuation, and stability, ensuring robots operate safely, efficiently, and accurately. This role sits at the intersection of Mechatronics and Control Engineering, and involves extensive use of model-based development tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and robot-specific frameworks like ROS or custom motion controllers.
Design and implement control algorithms for robotic manipulators, autonomous vehicles, or industrial robots
Develop trajectory planning, motion control, and stability algorithms
Model, simulate, and optimize dynamic robotic systems
Validate control strategies through simulations, test benches, and real-world testing
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, software, and electronics engineers
Ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards

What We Expect From You
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
Experience in robotic control, motion planning, or mechatronic system design
Knowledge of model-based development, simulation, and embedded control software
Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, ROS, C++ or industrial robot controllers
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Candidates must currently live in the Netherlands.
