As a  Global Electrical Engineering Lead , you will serve as the Senior Technical Authority for PDx and will be responsible for establishing, governing, and continuously improving electrical safety standards, asset performance, and risk reduction across all sites.

Key Responsibilities  Safety   Defining, deploying, and governing global electrical safety standards, including but not limited to LOTO, arc flash, HV/LV safety, and safe systems of work,
Supporting sites to complete gap assessments, developing risk-based action plans, and tracking closure against global electrical safety expectations,
Ensuring sites are appropriately resourced and competent to manage electrical safety risks,
Leading audits, compliance assurance, incident investigations, CAPA, and continuous improvement in electrical safety,
Ensuring electrical systems meet applicable cGMP/GxP, EHS, and regulatory requirements, with audit-ready documentation maintained.
Business Risk   Identifying single points of failure and critical electrical risks that could impact patient supply, GMP operations, safety, or business continuity.
Defining resilience strategies such as UPS, redundancy, backup power, emergency response, and power failure recovery plans,
Supporting business continuity planning and risk-based prioritization of electrical asset renewal and capital investment,
Providing senior Subject-Matter Expert oversight for electrical design standards, capital projects, design approvals, commissioning, and qualification.
Leading electrical-related deviations, investigations, and CAPA where business continuity, compliance, or supply reliability may be impacted.
Performance   Defining planned maintenance, predictive maintenance, and risk-based maintenance standards for electrical assets.
Leading electrical asset lifecycle strategy, replacement planning, reliability improvement, and performance optimization.
Driving CMMS/EAM integration, data quality, and data-driven decision-making for maintenance and reliability performance.
Owning global governance, standards, compliance tracking, and engineering communities of practice.
Developing training, competency frameworks, succession planning, and technical capability across the global electrical engineering network.
Maintaining external focus on business, technology, and engineering trends, translating best practice into global standards and site execution.
Training   Leading technical root cause investigations,
Ensuring company administrative procedures and policies are implemented in the department,
Developing people, training, and technical skills to maximize operational equipment uptime,
Implementing new technologies and applying best practice in maintenance methods and systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills   Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline;
Master’s degree preferred.
Strong experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, reliability, or engineering leadership within a regulated manufacturing environment (Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Chemical, or similar industries).
Proven experience managing complex electrical infrastructure, including high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems, critical utilities, power distribution, backup power systems, and electrical safety programs.
Demonstrated experience leading global or multi-site engineering initiatives and influencing stakeholders across a matrix organization.
Experience supporting capital projects, electrical system design reviews, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.
Technical Expertise   Deep knowledge of electrical safety principles, including LOTO, arc flash protection, safe systems of work, electrical risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
Strong understanding of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), predictive maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and equipment performance optimization.

Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and data-driven maintenance and reliability practices.
Knowledge of GMP/GxP environments and applicable regulatory, quality, and EHS requirements.
Ability to lead technical investigations, root cause analysis, risk assessments, deviation…
