Senior FPGA Engineer

TMC Electronics is looking for an experienced Senior FPGA Engineer with at least 5 years of industry experience in FPGA development.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating system requirements into robust FPGA architectures and implementations. You will work within multidisciplinary R&D teams on complex technical challenges, covering the entire development cycle from specification and design to verification, integration, and validation.

Our clients operate at the forefront of technology and use industry-leading FPGA platforms such as Xilinx (AMD) and Intel FPGA solutions. Besides your technical expertise, you will play an important role in mentoring and coaching less experienced engineers and contributing to technical excellence within project teams.

Your responsibilities

Define FPGA architectures and technical specifications based on system requirements.

Design and implement FPGA solutions using VHDL.

Perform simulation, verification, debugging, and validation activities.

Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and system engineers.

Integrate FPGA designs into complex embedded systems.

Optimize performance, timing, power consumption, and reliability.

Support technical decision-making and contribute to architectural discussions.

Coach and mentor junior FPGA engineers.
