Product Compliance Specialist

We exclusively represent a highly innovative semiconductor and advanced electronics equipment builder in the field of nanofabrication.
Due to the growth of the business, they need to expand their product conformity/compliance team.
It currently exists within the business, but conformity is not completely integrated into the business yet, so this is a position suited to a candidate who has great influencing skills, yet is also aware of the company's history of not having compliance heavily involved-so emotional intelligence is key here.
The business is aware they need to adapt; hence they are recruiting, but this is not a position where you will walk into ready-made policies or procedures. This is a change management role amongst product conformity.
A summary of the required skill set is below:
Ensure CE conformity in accordance with relevant directives and standards, applying the Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 and DIN EN ISO 12100.
Address international conformity topics in addition to CE, including UL, CCC (China Compulsory Certification), and KC (Korea Certification), using external certification bodies or support companies where necessary.
Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background is a big plus
You must come from an equipment manufacturing/product engineering background
Implement international conformity requirements for specific project needs.
Facilitate and ensure risk assessments involving all relevant stakeholders.
Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as testing institutes, development departments, and certification bodies.
Plan and conduct internal training sessions on conformity-related topics.
Design and establish a global product conformity role within the corporate group environment.
