Eplan Engineer

As a Senior E-Plan Engineer, you will work on challenging high-tech machine development projects for leading international customers. You will be responsible for the complete electrical engineering of machines, from developing electrical schematics and project specifications to creating Bills of Materials, 3D cabinet layouts and technical documentation.
You will work in multidisciplinary project teams together with electrical, mechanical, mechatronics and software engineers. Your broad technical knowledge and hands‑on approach will contribute to the successful development and realization of high-tech machines.
Please note;
Already located in the Netherlands is required due lead times.

What You Will Do   Develop electrical schematics and project specifications using EPLAN P8.
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Create 3D electrical cabinet layouts.
Route cables in 3D using Siemens NX.
Generate and maintain technical product documentation.
Review electrical designs, specifications and requirements for electronic modules and systems.
Act as a technical point of contact for field service and technical support.
Troubleshoot electrical and technical issues in a hands‑on manner.
Develop, improve and maintain engineering procedures and ways of working.
Work closely with electrical architects, designers and suppliers.
Collaborate with colleagues from mechanical, mechatronics and software engineering.
Contribute to the development and improvement of high-tech machine systems.
What We Expect From You   Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
At least 6 years of experience with EPLAN P8.

Experience with Siemens NX is a plus.
Knowledge of machine controls.
Good knowledge of applicable electrical regulations and standards.
Broad technical understanding of electrical engineering, with an interest in mechanics, mechatronics and software.
Analytical, pragmatic, creative and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Good command of English;
Dutch is preferred.
