Teamleader IT Business Integration

Overview

Shimano is looking forward to strengthening our IT Business Integration capability to accelerate digital outcomes across Shimano. As the Team Leader IT Business Integration you’ll guide a team of six to deliver reliable, scalable SAP BTP integrations, new business‑driven integration solutions, and AI capabilities that act as a true business enabler from within IT.

• Lead and develop the team: coach, hire, grow a high‑performing group of integration engineers; set goals, define ways of working, and foster a learning culture.
• Own the integration roadmap: prioritize with business stakeholders; plan and deliver features across SAP BTP Integration Suite (e.g., Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh) and adjacent platforms.
• Deliver new business‑driven development: shape solution designs, ensure robust CI/CD, testing, and observability; manage lifecycle from idea to run.
• Act as AI business enabler: identify high‑value use cases, coordinate data & platform prerequisites, and lead pilots into production (governed, secure, and supportable).
• Ensure reliability & security: enforce integration SLAs, incident/problem management, cost control, and security/compliance standards.
• Manage stakeholder & vendor relationships: align with Product Owners, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and external partners; manage contracts, SOWs, and budgets.
• Drive ways of working: agile delivery, documentation standards, and reusable integration assets (patterns, templates, reference APIs).

• 6–8 years of experience in a similar field.
• Leadership: 3+ years leading engineers/consultants in integration or platform teams; proven coaching and performance‑management skills.
• Integration expertise: 6–8+ years designing/delivering integrations; strong hands‑on understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite, API‑led design, event‑driven patterns, and secure connectivity to SAP S/4
  
  HANA and satellite systems.
• Engineering excellence: experience with Agile, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring/alerting, versioning, and change control for integrations.
• AI enablement: practical exposure to shipping AI/ML use cases (e.g., classification, predictions, assistants) and orchestrating data, platform, and ML Ops with IT controls.
• Collaboration:
  
  comfortable prioritizing trade‑offs with business stakeholders; clear communication in English (Dutch a plus).
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with SAP API Management, Event Mesh, Integration Advisor.
• Familiarity with complementary cloud services (e.g., Azure for identity, data, or AI workloads).
• Background in retail/consumer goods or supply‑chain integrations.

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
