We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Shell Scripting, Ansible, and Azure CI/CD to design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and application automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong automation-first mindset and experience working with Dev Ops and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories for infrastructure and application automation.
- Implement and manage Git-based workflows, including branching strategies, version control, and CI/CD integration.
- Integrate automation solutions with orchestration and scheduling tools.
- Develop and maintain YAML configurations and Jinja2 templates for scalable and reusable automation.
- Create and enhance Python scripts for automation, validation, and custom modules.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops, Platform, and Infrastructure teams to drive automation best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, operational, and governance standards.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting.
- Experience with Shell Scripting.
- Advanced knowledge of Ansible automation.
- Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Git-based version control systems and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Rundeck, Ansible Tower/AWX, or Jenkins.
- Proficiency in YAML and Jinja2 templating.
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Terraform.
- Experience building scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Dev Ops practices and infrastructure automation.
