Data Scientist

Role Overview

DLL is looking for a Data Scientist for a temporary 4‑month project.

Salary:
Medior = salary scale C‑I;
Senior = salary scale C‑II, with a higher rate possible for very strong candidates.

The role may be closed early if we receive 20+ qualified applications.

• Support the data collection process by partnering with the data management team to assess data adequacy.
• Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for financial economic crime.
• Advise senior management on key impediments and potential solutions.

• Master’s in Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years applying ML to large datasets with production deployments (SLA, latency, monitoring, retraining).
• Strong Python, SQL, and Spark skills; experience with Databricks and Azure Dev Ops or other cloud‑based ML tooling.
• Solid understanding of model monitoring and data quality.
• Proven ability to conduct stakeholder discovery and convert business problems into measurable ML deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable working in Agile/SCRUM teams.
• Experience in finance, leasing, or regulated industries such as KYC/AML or regulatory reporting.
