Job Description

Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise networking, including 3–5 years focused on Cisco SDA and Cisco DNA Center.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and escalation support for complex Software‑Defined Access (SDA) and Intent‑Based Networking (IBN) infrastructures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, bridging enterprise routing and switching, wireless networking, and network security.
  • Design, deploy, and operate Cisco SDA architectures for wired and wireless networks.
  • Design multi‑site deployments, including Fabric Domains, Control Plane Nodes, Border Nodes, and Edge Nodes.
  • Lead greenfield and brownfield implementations, including migration from traditional Over‑the‑Top (OTT) networks to SDA Fabric.
  • Configure and integrate Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for dynamic policy enforcement, 802.1X, Trust Sec, Scalable Group Tags (SGTs), and endpoint profiling.
  • Resolve Tier 3 and escalated incidents related to LISP registration, VXLAN encapsulation, multicast, and endpoint mobility.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical outages.
  • Leverage Cisco DNA Center (Catalyst Center) APIs and programmability to automate network provisioning, device upgrades (SWIM), and workflows.
  • Create High‑Level Designs (HLDs), Low‑Level Designs (LLDs), and migration playbooks.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 network engineers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of underlay technologies (OSPF, IS‑IS, BGP) and overlay technologies (VXLAN, LISP, EVPN).
  • Expertise with Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series switches and Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), including Policy Sets, TACACS+/RADIUS, and Scalable Group Tags (SGTs).
  • Basic to advanced programming skills in Python and REST APIs for network automation and orchestration.
