Security Consultant

Our Security Consultants know that securing the IT environment is super important and believe secure is never secure enough. Who are you then? A versatile, creative consultant who always thinks from the client's perspective and focuses on end results. You can easily handle things independently, but also rely on a team of experts around you and work well in project teams.

Beyond being strong in written communication, you're communicatively skilled in both English and Dutch and have a positive attitude. Most importantly? You have an eye for modern security solutions, experience with IT Security, and you enjoy thinking about the future of zero trust.

What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's level working and thinking capability
Extensive work experience in the role of IT Security Consultant
Knowledge of networks and product lines in networking, information security, and security solutions
Experience in ISO 2700x, COBIT, OWASP, NEN 7510, NCSC security guidelines
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM and/or CCNP Security

Experience with Agile methodologies, automation, and security in a Dev Ops environment
Relevant certification in cloud technology and infrastructures (for example Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure)

What you'll do

Create CIPs, consisting of step-by-step plans and risk analyses
Fully align functional requirements from HLDs with LLDs and CIPs
Translate requirements and wishes from an architectural blueprint into a functional design (HLD)
Translate functional designs (HLDs) into technical designs (LLDs)
Technical coordination with architects within central consultation
Align planning with client stakeholders
Guide and direct Network Engineers
Verify network configurations and management documentation
Describe and document network infrastructures in as-built documents
Perform second opinions on existing network documentation
Execute root-cause analyses and advise on complex problems
Prepare SOWs & quotations
