As a Logistics Process Controller, you ensure efficient and high-quality logistical operations within our warehouse. You oversee all activities related to monitoring the outbound warehouse processes, always with a strong focus on continuous improvement and lean processes.
You are responsible for managing the daily outbound flow, ensuring orders are prioritized correctly, released on time, and processed according to planning. By closely monitoring operational activities, coordinating transport loads, and collaborating with stakeholders across the warehouse, you help prevent disruptions and keep operations running smoothly.
With your process-driven mindset and ability to maintain overview in a dynamic environment, you act as the Control Tower for the warehouse and play a key role in the success of the outbound operation.
Key responsibilities- Manage and coordinate all activities related to Process Control, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Prioritize daily orders and ensure they are called off for preparation at the correct time.
- Create, release, and manage outbound loads.
- Monitor daily outbound activities and take action when operational issues occur.
- Manage blocked lanes, marshalling activities, and shipment priorities.
- Resolve shipping label issues and ensure accurate shipment documentation.
- Maintain carrier and Dorel performance data and support Stock Control where needed.
- Create tickets and follow up on system-related issues.
- Communicate closely with departments such as Shipping, Retail Care, Consumer Care, Outbound, Stock Control, Quality and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, transport planning, or process control environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, transport planning, outbound operations, and administrative workflows.
- Experience with managing daily operational planning, prioritizing orders, and coordinating outbound loads.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and shipment label processes, with the ability to re-solve operational issues when required.
- Experience with monitoring operational performance, maintaining carrier-related reporting, and supporting continuous process improvements.
- A proactive, structured, solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and operational continuity.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with operational stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic operational environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
What we offer
- A salary up to € 3.500 based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
- This is a position for 32 - 40 hours per week, depending on your preferences.
- You will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month.
