Senior Strategic Buyer – Semicon

Settels Savenije is entering an exciting new phase. From our own IP position, we are developing advanced tools for semiconductor fabs together with leading semiconductor manufacturers. To accelerate this growth, we are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer who can help build the supplier ecosystem behind next-generation semiconductor tools.

• Turn technology and business goals into smart sourcing strategies.

• Build strategic supplier partnerships for innovation, quality, capacity, and speed.

• Lead high-value negotiations, framework agreements, and long-term supplier contracts.

• Work close to Engineering and Project Teams on early supplier involvement, industrialization, make-or-buy choices, and cost-down opportunities.

You will directly influence the growth of our semiconductor activities, shape supplier strategies for tools developed from our own IP, and work with leading semiconductor manufacturers, specialist suppliers, and expert technical teams.

• 10+ years in strategic procurement, sourcing, commodity management, or senior buying in high-tech manufacturing.

• Experience or strong affinity with semicon, precision systems, mechatronics, or complex technology.

• A hands-on strategic mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to create value beyond price.
