Intern - GrowWise

About the Role

Internship in Philips Horticulture LED solutions, vertical/indoor farming, responsible for execution of indoor growth trials in Grow Wise Research Center, Eindhoven [NL], aiming to help customers develop new 'light recipes'.

• Design a series of indoor growth trials together with supervisor.
• Plan and execute trials: preparations, cleaning, sowing, monitoring, harvesting, collecting data, presenting and writing a report.
• Support in trials from other students and plant specialists.

• A horticulture / applied biology student eager to learn all about plant trials and technology.
• Proactive, independent, and a good communicator.
• Able to work on your own while part of a bigger team.
• Finalizing a Bachelor or greenhouse horticulture or applied biology (3rd /4th year).
• Available for 6 months or more.

• Continuous mentoring and feedback throughout internship.
• Internship allowance (amount depends on situation, also towards rented accommodation or public transportation).
• Paid leave of 1 day per month.
