Market Area Manager Water & Waste Water East Rand

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a market strategy for Water, Wastewater and Irrigation in line with objectives.
• Engage with key customers and stakeholders to drive business growth, understand needs and improve solutions.
• Lead and manage water and wastewater projects across Africa, including technical interfaces.
• Promote the company's equipment and solutions to end users, consultants, municipalities, and contractors.
• Lead the tender process and manage consortium agreements to secure major project contracts.
• Mentor and develop internal teams, providing training and setting clear performance objectives.
• Monitor competition and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in project and tender management within the company’s market sectors, particularly in Water and Wastewater.
• Strong knowledge of pump technologies, including centrifugal and submersible pumps.
• Solid understanding of hydraulic systems, including flow, pressure, head, and efficiency.
• Familiarity with applications across industries such as water treatment, mining, chemicals, and energy.
• Ability to interpret and analyse performance curves, technical datasheets and engineering specifications.
• Practical knowledge of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pump systems.
• Proficiency in SAP and C4C.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
