The Training Specialist develops, coordinates, conducts, and evaluates training programs for employees throughout the organization. The Training Specialist works closely with department managers, supervisors, and certified department trainers to support effective training, ensure training standards and processes are consistently applied, and identify opportunities to improve employee learning and performance.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Will vary depending on training needs)

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Designs and implements training materials in various formats, including, but not limited to, videos, handbooks and other reference materials, computer-based training programs, and check sheets. Training materials include appropriate assessments and methods for evaluating training effectiveness.
• Maintains accurate documentation, tracks action items and commitments, and manages assigned projects and training activities to ensure timely follow-through and completion.
• Coordinates with department managers, supervisors and trainers to gather information to develop and implement training plans.
• Collaborates with and influences others to achieve training objectives without direct supervisory authority.
• Evaluates training effectiveness and works with Sr. Training Specialist to revise design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness.
• Proactively engages with trainers and trainees on the production floor to gather feedback and identify training needs and opportunities for improvement. Documents feedback and observations and follows through on applicable action items to support the continued development and effectiveness of training programs.
• Verifies trainees' understanding of concepts pertaining to the subject taught and their ability to apply their knowledge.
• Facilitate instructor-led training courses and workshops. Prepares appropriately for assigned subject matter, effectively delivers course content, engages participants, manages the pace of instruction, and ensures established learning objectives are met.
• Assesses trainees to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.
• Manages certification programs for production employees.
• Oversees guitar kits for high school project. This includes but is not limited to; coordinating with production managers for guitar parts scheduling and production, assembling kits, preparing for and shipping kits, and managing relationships with the school industrial arts teachers.
• Co-facilitates in-person Guitar Fundamentals and Model .
• Covers Production onboarding shifts as needed.
