We are currently seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist at our Ketema facility in El Cajon, CA.
What does the job involve?
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the entire candidate experience, from the first moment they become aware of an opportunity to their first day as a new employee. As such, this position oversees planning, developing, managing, and overseeing talent acquisition and recruitment processes and strategies, as well as ownership of related social media and systems.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Manages and conducts full-cycle recruitment efforts for exempt, nonexempt, student, and independent contractor positions.
- Manages applicant tracking process.
- Manages employee screenings, assessments, and background check reports.
- Stays current with laws, regulations, procedures, trends, and best practices governing recruitment-related activities.
- Manages key metrics around candidate flow, acceptance rate, yield, satisfaction, etc.
- Identifies recruiting strategies to attract and retain “A” caliber talent to the organization.
- Implements recruitment strategies with department managers that will support the evolving needs of the business.
- Partners with Department Leadership, Managers, and Supervisors to forecast staffing needs and requirements.
- Strategically places and monitors advertisements to the target population, actively recruits using social media such as Linked In and job search engines, and utilizes creative recruitment techniques.
- Manages the development, implementation, and coordination of internal and external social media strategies, intending to establish and maintain a favorable image of the company with potential employees and the public through social media channels.
- Creates and maintains social media sites applicable to the recruitment process (Linked In, Company Careers Website, etc.)
- Oversees the analysis of responses to social media activities and provides recommendations for improvements.
- Develops, supports, and maintains college recruiting, affirmative action, and career development programs. Identifies external trends and recognizes best practices that will increase diversity among the workforce.
- Builds and maintains relationships with peers throughout the company.
- Promotes employee referral program.
- Delivers exceptional internal customer service for the company.
- Refines and streamlines the recruitment processes to ensure that amazing, talented, and qualified people are selected as a cultural fit.
- Plans procedures for improving the candidate experience.
- Suggests measures for improving employee retention.

- Ability to remain calm in the face of adversity.
- Ability to quickly analyze data and generate countermeasures that meet customer expectations and organizational objectives.
- Efficient use of PowerPoint presentation tools and Excel spreadsheets.
