Journeyman Commercial HVAC

• Knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment.
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.

• 5+ years of field experience as a licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as an HVAC and refrigeration technician.
• Knowledge and experience in the safe use of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

$42.84 - $57.18 per hour (Hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.)
