- Check voltage on machines, verify continuity, and perform other electrical tests to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
- Use control logic and ladder logic to troubleshoot and repair equipment, with a strong focus on Fanuc controls where approximately 90% of equipment runs on these systems.
- Read and interpret control logic diagrams and electrical schematics to identify faults and implement effective repairs.
- Resolve power supply issues for AC and DC motors by checking for blown fuses, wiring problems, and other electrical faults.
- Repair breakers and heavy industrial equipment, ensuring safe operation and compliance with electrical standards.
- Perform reactive maintenance by responding quickly to equipment issues, troubleshooting root causes, and implementing immediate corrective actions.
- Follow up reactive maintenance with planned preventive maintenance tasks and facility repairs to reduce future downtime and extend equipment life.
- Strong electrical repair and installation skill set, including experience with high-voltage systems such as 440V and 480V three-phase power.
