Work Location All positions are considered on-site roles. After six months of employment, some positions may be eligible to apply for a hybrid work arrangement based on job responsibilities, operational needs, supervisor approval, and Dallas College policy. - Support the planning, coordination, and operational success of a department, division, or functional area.
- Help develop, implement, and maintain effective business processes, procedures, and policies that promote organizational excellence.
- Assist with establishing and carrying out administrative programs, initiatives, and strategic priorities aligned with departmental and institutional goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide outstanding customer service and build positive working relationships.
- Monitor emerging trends, best practices, and developments within your area of expertise and help identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Coordinate and support projects to ensure goals are achieved within established timelines and budgets.
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze reports, records, and other documentation necessary to support departmental operations.
- Assist leadership with tracking progress toward strategic objectives and preparing reports that communicate outcomes and accomplishments.

Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day functions of a segment of work, a sub-section of an organization, or a functional area within an organization. Responsible for assisting with the planning, direction or oversight of a business unit, division, department, or an operating unit within an organization with or without reporting staff. Plans and maintains work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of its people and other resources within the organization.
Assists in the establishment and implementation of efficient administrative policies, programs and procedures; develop strategic goals and objectives for area(s) of responsibility in conjunction with strategic direction, mission and goals of business unit or organization. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both internal and external groups within the Dallas College community, strong commitment to world-class customer service. Recognize emerging trends in area(s) of expertise and prepare for changes that may occur as a result of these trends.
Ability to multi-task and/or lead projects to ensure they are completed within timeframe and budget. Able to manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Able to prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
