Physiatrist - El Centro, CA (Residency Accepted) Sign-On Bonus of $15k

Shift: Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physiatrist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will diagnose and manage patients with physical disabilities or impairments, with a focus on restoring function and enhancing quality of life. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical and functional limitations.

• Develop personalized treatment plans involving therapy, medication, and rehabilitation.

• Perform minor procedures such as suturing and Botulinum toxin administration.

• Oversee discharge planning for smooth patient transitions to home or rehab settings.

• Deliver urgent care and basic life support when needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

• Collaborate on family planning and support addiction treatment strategies.

• Stay informed on developments in addiction medicine and related specialties.

• Proficient in managing ventilated patients and minor surgical interventions.

• Experienced in urgent care and familiar with medical office operations.

• Skilled in creating effective discharge plans tailored to individual needs.

• Committed to enhancing patient outcomes through coordinated, up-to-date care.

Experience and License:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.

• Completion of a PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) residency program (current residents nearing completion are welcome to apply).

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

• California medical license (active or in process).

• DEA license and ability to prescribe medications as required.
