basic function and distinguishing characteristics
under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform routine and general service duties involving the maintenance of county roads, solid waste landfills, county road yards, right-of-ways and assist in the maintenance of assigned equipment and vehicles.
education and experience/ licenses and other requirements
any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above.
valid california class c driver's license.
supplemental information
a valid driver's license may be required at the time of appointment and employees may also be required to drive their own vehicle and provide proof of liability insurance as per vehicle code vc § 160020. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
