Freight/Receiving role at The Home Depot
. This position ensures the store is stocked and ready for business every day, including loading and unloading trucks, moving material from the receiving area throughout the store, and may operate forklifts. It may also involve maintaining proper on-hands and pricing for customers. Direct customer interaction is frequently required for some positions and exemplary customer service skills are required. The Freight/Receiving positions may include Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate and Receiving Support.
pay range
$22.50/hr - $23.50/hr
Responsibilities- Stock the store and ensure product availability.
- Load and unload trucks and move material from receiving area through the store.
- Operate forklifts where applicable.
- Maintain proper on-hands and pricing for customers.
- Provide direct customer service as required for some positions.
- The Freight/Receiving positions may include Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate and Receiving Support.
- Excellent customer service skills; direct customer interaction is frequently required for some positions.
