Brine Operations Engineer – Join Our Team!
Are you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in the energy sector? We’re looking for a Brine Operations Engineer to lead critical projects and drive operational excellence in brine downhole remediation, drilling, and surface equipment initiatives.
What You’ll Do- Lead Projects: Manage development and execution of drilling, workover, and surface equipment projects with a focus on cost control and timely delivery.
- Optimize Performance: Drive reliability improvements for subsurface and surface equipment.
- Ensure Compliance: Support AOGC and PHMSA regulatory requirements; prepare and submit forms and notifications for drilling and workover activities.
- Champion Safety: Provide expertise in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and actively contribute to Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives.
- Manage Budgets: Develop and oversee capital planning and departmental KPIs.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work with management and cross‑functional teams on special projects and continuous improvement efforts.
- Leverage Technology: Utilize SAP and production systems for operational data and project tracking.
- Lead & Grow: Participate in leadership activities, complete development plans, and provide vacation coverage when needed.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3+ years in oil & gas or brine field operations (less experience considered for Engineer I role).
- Proven success in reliability engineering, wellbore repair, project management, and PSM activities.
- Self‑motivated, independent, and technically strong.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP and production management systems.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and business acumen.
