Position Description
Staff Attorney(s) for El Dorado, Arkansas – Housing, Domestic Justice, Economic Justice, Consumer at National Legal Aid & Defender Association.
Legal Aid of Arkansas is a public interest, not‑for‑profit law firm dedicated to assuring equal access to justice in civil matters for low‑income Arkansans. Attorneys provide counsel in housing preservation, domestic violence prevention, economic justice, and consumer protection.
- Provide direct legal advocacy, from advice and brief assistance to negotiations and full representation.
- Handle high‑volume practice consistent with experience.
- Primarily work in one of the four substantive areas listed above.
Competitive salary with potential rural market bonus adjustment. Preference for full‑time; part‑time may be considered.

Frequent travel and occasional evening or weekend time for training, meetings, or outreach activities.
Qualifications- Arkansas Bar admission or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Arkansas or contiguous counties.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to travel to represent clients.
