Job type:
Part‑time. Duration:
August 2025 to May 2026. This part‑time position is scheduled during the school year and requires work outside regular school hours, including occasional weekends.
- Organize and carry out monthly prevention meetings, activities and approved events throughout the school year.
- Center programs around the club’s five pillars: community service, community outreach, drug‑free education, drug‑free activities, and social and emotional awareness.
- Act as a sponsor for the eXtreme Youth Programs, ensuring effective outreach and engagement with students.
- Current employee at Smackover High School is required.
- Experience in youth-serving or prevention programs with additional experience in marketing or communications is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, networking, creativity, planning and organizational abilities required.
- Computer skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Valid current driver’s license with maintained automobile insurance and clean motor vehicle report.
- Clean criminal background check and sex offender registry clearance.
- Availability to work as scheduled during hours of operation.
- Light work: sitting/standing, exerting up to 20 lb. occasionally and/or 10 lb. frequently.
- Hear alarms/telephone/normal speaking voice.
- Have good manual dexterity to use computer keyboards.
- Have clarity of vision with/without corrective lenses.
- Valid current driver’s license.
- Maintain current automobile insurance coverage at all times.
- Provide and use personal transportation.
- Maintain a clean motor vehicle report.
- Pass a clean criminal background check.
- Pass a sex offender registry clearance.
- Availability to work as scheduled during hours of operation.
