Tax Professional - Franchise Location at H&R Block. Seasonal, experienced Tax Professional role supporting clients with diverse tax needs with advanced tax training.

• Build client relationships that grow stronger each year while helping clients make informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money.
• Serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team and comprehensive training.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face or via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience with individual returns; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working with virtual tools - video, phone and chat; strong communication skills in person, by phone and in writing.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
