Position Summary:
As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and wellbeing.
The lease holder has autonomy to set practice days, hours, patient schedule, fee schedule, and retains full profit from exam/professional fees.
Autonomy As Lease Holder- Establish days of practice
- Establish hours of operation
- Control patient schedule
- Set fee schedule
- Keep 100% of exam/professional fees
- Equipment instrumentation
- Administrative and/or Technician support services (if state allows)
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license
- Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
- Valid state ophthalmology license
- General Liability Certificate
- Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
