El Dorado 1st director of children and youth ministries

The First United Methodist Church of El Dorado, KS is seeking a highly motivated person of the Christian Faith to be our “First Kids” program leader and nursery coordinator, beginning in December 2026. The successful candidate will have documented experience working in church children’s programs. Ideally the person will have excellent lesson planning and delivery skills. Job duties include (but not limited to) planning and leading a Sunday School program, the ability to work on recruiting children and families to be a part of our church, the ability to supervise our nursery, and leading others while demonstrating a strong commitment to the Christian faith.

The successful candidate MUST have the ability to obtain and maintain Safe Gatherings certification within two weeks of the beginning of employment. The position is 15-20 hours per week, with salary commensurate to previous experience. The position will remain open until filled.
