• Operate/maintain Petroleum Coke Handling System consisting of a PLC-controlled conveyor system that includes daily operation of the conveyor/crusher system, daily inspection, clean-up after use, and maintenance. Minor troubleshooting capability – mechanical aptitude a must.
• Operate/maintain heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, water truck, large excavators with clamshell bucket, and other mobile equipment.
• Complete and maintain required daily paperwork.
• Assist maintenance personnel, as needed.
• Occasionally work in areas outside your normal duties when instructed by supervision.
• Take an active role in our safety program, including attendance at all safety meetings and ensuring safe behaviors of self and subordinates.

• 1 year of refinery, plant, or industrial experience.
• Class B CDL preferred.
• Read, write, and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Environmental & Safety Awareness.
• Cooperates and works well with others in one-on-one or group situations.
• Contributes actively to team objectives, takes on responsibilities, and is responsible for actions.

• Work a rotating 12-hour shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
• Able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions, including walking and standing on uneven ballast surfaces for long periods.
• Handle large tools, climb on and off equipment, ascend and descend ladders, and should not have a fear of heights.
